Things to come…

So, here we are, four posts and almost seven weeks in…and what on earth am I doing?  Posting not even once a week?  Something’s gotta change.  So things are changing!  I’m getting organized, I’m arranging interviews, I have a plan…and I even have a schedule.  🙂 And I’m counting on all of you to hold me to it…ok?

Newsday Tuesday — Tuesdays will be dedicated to posts on theatre news, particularly new works by women playwrights, new productions of women’s work, and advances in the on-going fight for equality in the theatre.  Heard about something you want me to post about?  Let me know!  I am open to ideas and suggestions.

Wednesday Views and Reviews — Wednesdays will feature my reviews and opinions of plays I’ve recently read or seen, with particular emphasis on plays written (of course!) by women.

Friday Features — Fridays I would like to dedicate to women playwrights themselves.  I am working on arranging more interviews with new, emerging, and established playwrights. On the Fridays I don’t have interviews to post, I will profile women playwrights whose work I enjoy.

I have a few other ideas in the works, but this is a basic structure for me to start with.  I’m still working on utilizing my blog to the best of my ability, still figuring out settings and blogrolls and widgets (what ARE widgets?!) with a copy of “WordPress for Dummies” on my desk.  As always, your comments, opinions, and suggestions are welcome. Thanks for your patience and please stay tuned!  The best is yet to come…

About dramachicky

I am a dramachick: a playwright, actress, director, wife, singer, reader, aunt, daughter, student, teacher, and dreamer. My husband has taken to calling me dramachicky. :-) I have my M.A. and M.F.A. in creative writing/playwriting from Wilkes University. My husband and I started a small theatre group in northeast Pennsylvania called Ghostlight Productions. I love all things theatre and I am thrilled to launch this blog as a celebration of women playwrights.
